Our Mission
We see ourselves as a patient’s ‘medical home’ where we serve as their first step on the road to recovery. When necessary to further their journey towards complete wellness, we provide recommendations and help facilitate appointments for our customers with area hospitals and physicians,” according to Dr. Diane Ferguson. “Our staff is small and we treat all of our clients like family,” she added, “Superior Health & Wellness exists so that our patients have a place to go for familial care, as opposed to a hospital or trauma center.
Clients visit the office from local cities in Desoto County including surrounding areas of Tate, Marshal and Shelby Counties. Dr. Ferguson, originally from Independence, MS, earned her medical degree and graduated residency in 1987 at the University Medical Center in the state’s capital, Jackson and began practice in Ridgeland, MS where she served for 20 years. In the fall of 2015, Dr. Ferguson’s desire to “come home” led her to make inquiries in and around Desoto County where she found her current position at Superior Health & Wellness as head of staff.
The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting. The staff is professional, qualified, well trained and capable and service always comes with a smile; a perfect medical facility to call ‘home’ for all patient needs.
Meet our staff
Danielle Odor, N.P
Laninssa Danielle Odor is board certified FNP through ANCC. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Baptist College of Health Sciences and then earned her Master of Science Degree at ASU. She began healthcare career as a RN in Skilled Nursing Facility within large Community Hospital until graduation with her MSN. She then worked internal medicine until joining Superior Health and Wellness Dec 2015.
Dr. Diane Ferguson
She graduated from the University of MS Medical School and completed her residency at the University of MS Medical School in Family Medicine. She has been in private practice for over 20 years in Ridgeland, MS and has recently returned to North MS in Desoto County in January 2016.
